Reflections from Our Leadership
Words of gratitude, memory, and dedication from our Board Executive Committee, Executive Director, and Director of Development as we honor our final year at Lotus Outreach.
Patty Waltcher, President
Serving Lotus Outreach for twenty years—first as a Board member and later as President—has been one of the great honors of my life. Meeting the young women we support and witnessing their strength and generosity has inspired me deeply. As we enter our final year, I invite you to stand with us so we may navigate this transition with grace and fulfill our commitments through 2026.
Ed Malley, Treasurer
I’ve served as Treasurer of Lotus Outreach since 2004, and it has been an honor to help ensure our resources were used responsibly and for the greatest impact. What has stayed with me most is the resilience of the girls we serve and the integrity of our local partners. As we enter our final year, please stand with us to fulfill our 2026 commitments.
Penelope Tree, Vice President
I joined Lotus Outreach in 2003 and became deeply involved after a transformative trip to Cambodia in 2005. What has stayed with me is the courage of the girls we serve and the dedication of our local partners. As we enter our final year, I invite you to stand with us to fulfill our 2026 commitments and sustain this work beyond dissolution.
Glenn Fawcett, Executive Director
I first came to India as a volunteer in 1995, later leading White Lotus Trust and joining Lotus Outreach in 2002 as Director of Field Operations before becoming Executive Director in 2017. What has inspired me most is the profound agency of youth from the hardest circumstances. As we enter our final year, I invite you to help us fulfill our 2026 commitments and sustain our local NGOs beyond dissolution.
Genevieve Waltcher, Director of Development
After nearly nine years at Lotus Outreach, witnessing our beneficiaries’ joy and strength has transformed me. This work has opened my heart in ways I never expected. It has been an honor to serve, and I fiercely aspire for our teams and partners worldwide to continue flourishing for many years to come. Thank you for joining our final campaign.
