Grade 12 | Blossom Bus
Pooja now dares to dream of a bright future in the medical field due to access to higher education, STEM (science) subjects, and mentorship.
“I am very happy that I will be able to continue my studies, and can become a Nurse after completing my education thanks to Blossom Bus services. In our area, we don’t have proper transportation, and because of that, dropout rates are high…. It would be very hard for girls like me to continue their studies if the bus services weren’t here. I am grateful for this beautiful project, as this bus service helped not only me but also many girls in my village. I want every girl in my community to know about their rights…Girls just need opportunity.”

Grade 8 | Buddha Smiles
Asifa has plans to read all of the books in the Buddha Smiles study center library so that one day, she can make a meaningful impact on the world.
Asifa has a passion for learning, but her overcrowded government school has limited resources, and she does not have the learning support she needs. Recently, she joined our Buddha Smiles project so she could go to a study center every day after school for holistic academic education and care. She says, “I will read all of the books in the library sometime in the future.” Asifa’s quest for knowledge is inspired by her elder sister, Fatima, who was the first in her family to attend college.
MEENA
2nd Year of University | Lotus Pedals + Jharkhand Project
Meena rides 18 km each way to get to school through hilly terrain and dense forest. The bicycle provided to her is a true friend and will ensure her safety and future.
